The mapping project makes a digital map of the water system. We expect to receive a 99% grant and have the mapping completed by early March 2023. This is a component of the Asset Management Plan that must be completed before September 2026.
Old Business:
Ron asked for feedback on the proposed trailer storage project, which is now planned for a lot on Betty Lane. Construction may begin in the spring.
GVL2025- The board reviewed the report card, which is the subset of the overall plan. The report card shows the projects that are planned for 2023 and the progress of each. The Finance Committee is working on a collection plan and when to turn accounts over to a collection agency. Jim Gehringer reported on logging and that not a lot of companies want to assist in the creation of a logging plan, but he is still working on it. Property Upkeep/Maintenance (formerly Beautification) and Special Events- several yards in the mobile home section have been cleaned up, Bill Anderson has been of assistance and letters have been sent to homeowners throughout the valley who were not in compliance. There is a budget for removing several abandoned trailers, but we have been unable to find someone to remove them. If anyone knows of someone who can assist, please let the board know. A dance is being planned for February.
New Business:
The Architectural Review Committee is working on a consolidated guideline/checklist for new construction, taken from the Covenants and Restrictions, to make it more user friendly. The packet would be handed to the owner and the ARC would set up preliminary approvals and secondary approvals to ensure the guidelines are followed.
